These Are A Fisherman's Favorite Dreams

The Story: In 2003 college senior Matt started writing songs that would ultimately either become fuel for his, trying to make it college band, or his fantasy side project, These Are A Fisherman's Favorite Dreams. After college and the forced break up of his then current band, Burning Cuba Skylines, the pile of songs filed under fantasy side project grew and grew. On a lonely evening with a used 4-track and college buddy Bill Bouguski at his side, the fantasy become a reality and These Are A Fisherman's Favorite Dreams, (Fishermans) was officially born. During the fall of 2004, with ambitions high, Matt, with the help of Bill Bouguski and college friend Justin Freeman officially created and started the framework of what would ultimately be Boathouse Records and the Rents Recording, an independent record label and recording studio that could be used as a base for their musical endeavors. The birth of BHR&Co., has brought the likes of many artists, musicians, friends and now family, to Matt's door step, over the near decade of its existence. Unfortunately for Fisherman's sake, Matts dedication to the label and studio tended to take priority over his own music. Over the past years with many songs, shows and collaborations Matt has settled down and focused his efforts on releasing his material properly under the BHR&Co., moniker. The musical collaboration with artists, friends and label mate Petie Peterson has yielded a series of recordings and songs which the two are proud to collect into the now released Buffalo Ep and full length Toil. Fishermans prides itself on being ever changing, ever evolving and a project that celebrates the awesome talents and friends that are Matt & the BHR&Co. family
